What happened to this laser?

I'd be more than happy to perform spectroscopy of it; I could tell virtually instantaneously if the laser diode turned into an expen$ive blue LED or if it still lases

Thanks for the offer, but my wallet is close to death.... As I live in Finland, it would be pretty expensive to ship it...




So, I won't test my driver.. Wish me luck.

I think its fine, and I dont have money anymore for test loads / power supplies :undecided:

You can build a test load for under €15. It's a useful bit of kit and good soldering practice if your new to all this like me

Although read the whole thread as you'll have to uprate the diodes and resistor for loads over 1A
