Wasn't a huntsman, it had thicker, shorter legs and was hairy. Black, but different to a funnelweb.

There's huntsmen in Florida too.

I use my lasers mainly for my own enjoyment. What more practical use could there be?

You need to get a serious IR burner to fight off those ginormous huntsman spiders ;D

Yeah cool.

There are a few practical uses for lasers.

Besides as a targetting aid they make great defensive weapons in some attacked scenarios and can be used for fire starting in the wild.

These are just a few that spring to mind! :D

Laser popcorn is notoriously difficult. And they're no better a defensive tool than a baseball bat, nor a better fire starter than matches.

Yea , it's a lot of work , patience and suffering, but tastes a lot better, you can really taste the frustration :D.
