In on thread I read, it said that they have sent out underpowered lasers in the past. Was this just a one time thing, or is this usually there reputation? I want to order from Nova Lasers, but the laser I want is out of stock.

Wait for the nova laser to become in stock. 8-)

This is just a guess, but is the laser you want an x125?

Yes, but I already order the Viper 125mw though. If it turns out to be defective, I will return it, and order from Nova.

EDIT: My order hasn't been shipped yet, so I might be able to cancel it. But does anyone know when this laser will be back in stock?

Dragon lasers used to send out under powered units, but now they often send overpowered units.

Don't cancel your order, you will be satisfied ;)

I don't know , wait for someone who has purchased from DL to reply, they will know ;)

How are you going to test the power? Do you have a laser power meter? If you want one, PM laserbee. ;)

Well, I don't have one, I would get one if they were <=$40. By defective, I mean, the beam/dot is considerably low in intensity.

But what do you compare that to? How exactly do you know what 125mW look like? :-?

If meters where only $40, then everyone would have one! The cheapest meter available is the laserbee1. Only $200. A member on this forum named "electron" has a $3600 meter... But, like most people, you won't be able to afford that!
(Well unless you have a pile of $100 bills laying around. ::))

lol
650th post!

I have 30mw Green and if the Viper 125mw has a beam dimmer than that then I will return it. If it doesn't work at all, I will return it. It's not that big of a deal to me.

when i ordered yellow pointer from DL ~2 weeks
they shipped after 2 days only arrived after 4 days

I know some one who got an 100mw laser from DL, they actually lost it in the snow for 3 days and it was found in a puddle later and it still worked. There cases are very nice and professional looking.

I have bought from dragonlasers, many times:

95mW viper, diffraction gratings, and safety goggles, and they are very reliable.

one time my package went missing, and they just sent another.

Ok, I got my Viper 125mw yesterday. Its pretty nice, it seems to be just as bright as the others on youtube. The beam is visible in lit conditions, not super bright, but visible. It didn't come in an elegant and stylish case though. It came in a styrofoam and cardboard case. Oh well. I need better batteries for it. I am thinking about ordering the eneloops.

I will make a review for it soon.
