WF-501B Junk Drawer Find

Just found this guy in a junk drawer!

Need to research heatsinks and whatnot but I’m hoping to turn this thing into a laser very soon. I’ve read Eudaimonium makes heatsinks for them. I also found the Extended and Tapered Copper Heatsink SL-CHS3 on SurvivalLaser but I didn’t see an outside diameter listed.. and I’m not sure how close the 501B is to the hosts mentioned on their site.

Either way. Going to be blast. Just gotta figure out what wavelength to chase after. Sounds like I’ll have a couple builds coming in the next couple weeks. Will definitely post!

Yes, Rich has made many heat sinks for these 501 flashlight hosts. I have several of his in this exact host as are listed among my many wavelengths.
