"Asherz" already gave him lots of info. If just looking up some of those websites and reviews is already too much work, I guess he doesn't really want a laser...

Listen, all i want is somebody to link me to a good laser that is good quality that will burn matches, pop ballons, and turn off street lights well. I just want to know of anybody that used one of the lasers and has experiance with them.
 
55mw won't really do much burning, if any. You should be able to "burn"/melt a balloon to pop it. And melt through black thin plastic, like trash bags. Though anything else, your going to need to focus the spot very small to allow for some burning. Though even then, your going to have a smaller surface area that your burning, so it wont really do much but smoke a bit.

Yeah, both websites have been having problems lately.
