Violet Laser vs Green Laser or are they the same???

Would A Violet laser like the one that was posted on her from ebay that was advertised at 5mw , but was actually 35- 50 mw give the same affect as a green laser or more like a red laser?

Red laser. The reason being is that both red and violet or on the far ends of our visible spectrum where as green is near the center making us perceive it as much brighter.

Sorry... but that chart is NOT the visual light intensity perceived
by the human eye...
It is very misleading to the newcomer who is looking to buy/build
a Laser...

The chart that photonaholic provided IS what the Human eye
perceives as intensity to wavelength...:cool:
