That looks very neat...

After looking at your video I started thinking of the possibility of making a digitally controlled spirograph... I think I have the basics down... I just need to get to doing the work... ;D

the third one is a cpu fan i used as a shutter to block the beam . when running the fan blade blocks the beam several time a second
