I just finished making another creation of mine I built this laser as a gift for my little brother who has no 405nm's. I used a small project box from Radioshack, two switches (one rocker, one mini), Dark Horse aluminum heat sink, [link=http://hightechdealz.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=10]Aixiz Rkcstr Blu Ray Laser Module @ 120mA[/link] and a 9v Battery. The rocker switch was too big to put next to the blu ray laser module, so it had to go behind it.. which made the 9V battery not fit inside the box anymore.
So instead of redoing everything or giving up, I drilled a hole in the back of the box and stuck the battery out of it. The 9V battery fits surprisingly very well and snug between the two screw down plastic cylinders in the box. The battery doesn't move which is nice, and its now ridiculously easy to change the battery.
Here's the results:

I like the way it feels with the battery evening out the weight of the heat sink. Gives it more of a flashlight type grip to it as well, even though it is obviously not a flashlight.
thanks for looking
