Very new to building lasers.

Hello everybody.. I am thinking of buying this

If I ordered this, what would i need to make it a functional laser? Could I just hook up a pair of AA batteries to it and it would work? Or do I need something else?

You would need to order the additional driver mentioned and power it with 8-15 volts.

I think its just a diode in a module with some wires soldered on though, so you can choose a different driver that fits your needs.

You would be better off ordering a complete product if you dont want to do soldering work yourself, or get a blu-ray diode in a case from one of the group buys if you do.

I don't mind soldering as long as I know what I am doing, but thanks for your help.

I'd go with this its already to use just add a 9v batt or 7.5 to 9v dc to it
