Hello, today I want to tell you about my 638nm laser build. The diode I used is USHIO HL63643DG. Host-Convoy S3. For this build I used a 350mA driver (1x AMC7135). The output power should be around 300mW. Optics-G2 single element glass lens. The divergence of this laser is very cool, because this diode is single-mode. From distance of 5m, the dot size is about 5mm. This laser is very bright in daylight, the same as my 505-510nm ~150mW. But the beam is not very visible without fog, since the red light is almost not scattered in the air.
