Used Kia hidden problems ?

My mother has a 2012 Kia Forte with 80,000 Km-ish on it, and it hasn't had any issues. Kia used to be meh on quality but my experience with Kia has always been positive.

old Air Bags main chemical component was sodium azide as that's whats generates the nitrogen gas , but I think its been replaced

Do you mean sodium nitrate as that's NaNO3 ? , Potassium nitrate is KNO3 , They are used as well along with other chemicals to recast with the sodium produced

Good luck with the car purchase : D

i meant KNO3..... this is what happens when you type things on a forum when you are half asleep:D

Everyone has about covered everything. The ideal check would be if you could have the car for few days but thats wishful thinking. One thing I would do is to check the car on a cold start, as a pre warm up can hide some issues. Look for different color fenders, bumpers, overspray etc. as it could tell you of an accident it might of had. This may sound silly but go with your gut as you said you got some weird vibes. Take your time like its seems you have.

I know I posted this on another thread but I'll do one last time :D

This is what firelaser will be like if this car has any problems lololololololol

I guess this is the chemistry that saves you when driving half-asleep as well ;)

As for the brand reputation of KIA: the ones sold in europe usually tend to be reliable cars overall. It seems these korean cars are a bit like the japanese ones we got in the 90s - pretty good value, quite reliable, but not that fashionable.

It all depends on the individual car you are buying though, regardless of brand there are some lemons out there, but many more that just do what they are supposed to.

UPDATE!

i bought the car! it works great Test drove great, mechanic said it was a go!

it was in a crash but the repairs were done well (mostly ) and should not cause any issues
i got it for 9500$

Sounds like a good price on a fairly new car like that - hope it will work out well for you.

If your own mechanic got a good look at it that will probably no problem, other than the usual wear and tear on these things.
