hello, my friend just told me that he disassembled some BR drive for xbox 360 and he found this diode inside

any info about this?
(I asked him about the model of drive and sled type, I'll post it here when I got it)

That is the "reader" from the game itself. It is not worth messing with

The good burner was/is in the HD-DVD ADD-ON Player for the X-Box 360.

he just told me he made some googling and found out that it's only a dvd rom drive with a weak R and IR LDs
