Hey

A few days ago i saw this flashlight and i think it´s awesome! It works on one 18650 batt and the price is ok. By far my favorite :D

$14.14 - Ultrafire WF-502B 3W Cree 18650 Flashlight - Cree Lights

(there are similar hosts like the 501b, 503b, 504b... but this one is sweet!)

So i definetly want to make a 445nm laser out of this host but i dont know what would be the dimensions of the heatsink. I have a hunch that it could use the heatsink from a 9 LED host. I dont think theres a tutorial of this item yet.. that would be perfect. So any ideas?

You could take a gamble and see if the 501b heatsink fits. Dimensions of the heatsink are listed too.

Eudaimonium made the heatsinks, and he's closer to your part of the world, you might even consider shooting him a PM. But check out the radiant website, because they show the dimensions of the heatsinks offered there.
 
502b heatsink is just a tad thinner on the main body of the heatsink, around 20 mm,
501b heatsink is 22.5 mm wide and won't fit into this what you have.

Only 501b and for future reference, it would be better to send a member a Personal Message than to reply to a 1 year old thread :) People can get cranky about that stuff.
