Yeah... that thread is great, but it's a bit out of date.
Just general reading tip for forums/research, it's a good idea to pay attention to when a post is made, and when it is edited last. This will give you a fair idea of whether it's up to date or not.
Even better to still do a little search of LPF via google and search operators...
