We drove 4000+ kms. 2000 each in west and north Norway.
Took over 15GB of dash cam footage in high def.
Here is all that compressed into 11 minutes.

This is way cool thanks for sharing this video +4

I love the Flam Rail Route it almost looks like an old rail road bed with the rails removed and paved over but then I see you cross the tracks several times.

I would seem there are a few one lane roads with two way traffic on them :eek:

Very C:cool::cool:L

Thanks Pyro!
Flam rain is a scenic rail journey which requires buying a somewhat expensive ticket for a few kms of ride. Alternatively, you can burn fuel instead
the road follows the tracks and the scenery is amazing with some waterfalls too.

Speaking of narrow roads, Norway has a lot of narrow roads which have 2 way traffic. Its sheer terror to see an 18 wheeler come at you at almost 80kmph on a near blind turn.

But then people drive very carefully, and usually the first guy to spot a a turnout parks the car there.

Thankfully, volume of traffic is low.

Super video tsk, I had intended on only watching the first couple of minutes, but those winding roads and that beautiful scenery had me mesmerized in no time; watched it all!

In amazing contrast with the rural, and sometimes almost desolate countryside, were the occasional glimpses of todays high tech world; the tunnels, ferrys, and suspension bridges. Nice.

A great watch! +1 for you. :beer:

Norway is very very desolate, and even in the most remote parts you have these long tunnels. Its the first time I ever drove through a tunnel which had a round-about! Talk abut engineering!
Heck the Laerdal tunnel is over 24kms and is the longest in the world. I always thought the swiss to be tunnel builders, but the Nords beat them by a long margin. Never driven through so many tunnels.

Too bad I could not drive on the Atlantic road. That would be some sight! Next time sure!
