I ship "blue LED's", "blue diodes", and "blue LED flashlights" to other countries, all the time ;)  ::)

They totally got mixed up there.HDDVD uses the galium nitride 405nm diode but it doesn't have anything to do with the DPSS 473nm laser sold here, and neither does Nakamura.The blue LED that he developed is now available for eons.And what do flat screen TVs have to do with anything there? :-/

Not to mention that the comercial name they gave it is completely ridiculous......"The power of Phire in your hands...." PHIRE??..... ::)
