its like this new kind of laser or something, my uncle showed me one, where you would shine it and move it around on a white wall with the lights on, then when u turned the laser off, and the lights off, your trail (that u made with the laser) would light up, as if you drew it there with something, but it goes away after a while. its really cool
 
Hehe this link has been posted on this forum in at least five different topics lol, but it is a cool video.

Ha I don't know either.... I know what he's talking about though. That is some sort of material you project the laser on which flourescescsecsses (lol, that dang word...).
 
Amazingly cool video in this topic! As I always say when i have seen magic, exactly HOW did he do that???

i think i saw that video on LC a year ago, i always thought camera tricks played a part.
 
I thought he was hiding laser pointers and holding them in a special way in his hands so it looks like he was 'manipulating' the laser beam...

It seems like the only explanation to me. As for the coat hanger thing, NO IDEA, that is easily one of the coolest magic tricks I've ever seen.

but d00d this is the best magic ever (watch all three ;D)

I think there's a wire he hangs the hanger on. Watch his left hand when the hanger falls.. He trips a release.
 
When he is bending and splitting the laser, it looks like he might have a second one in his other hand.

I think the laser in his right hand has a beam that comes out both ends and independently switched. If he also has a laser in his right hand and is good with the timing of switching one off and the other on, it will look like he can bend the beam and separate it. To bolster this theory, at 2:28 you can see it must turn on unintentionally for a fraction of a sec.
 
When he drops the coathanger, you can see him pressing something behind the peice of board.
 
And as for the bending one, it looks like he just has mirrors in his hands, and maybe a few of those keychain greens from DX.

I think it's more than DX cheapies lol ;D But it's pretty much just smoke and mirrors....and lasers ;D
