The whole Defective LD was my error

Upon further tests, i have found that Senkat diode is in perfect working condition.

He is a great sales person and everyone should buy from him ;D


as for Deadals circuit. Its not working right, but thats on my part.

When I got Deadals regulator, I accidentally pulled on the wire too hard and it came off. I had to re-solder new ones on.


He has done a great job on the regulator and the packaging. And even proved it worked before he sent it out.

I found that something came disconnected in the process of re-soldering new wires on.

I'm repairing that now so sorry for the confusion.



I'm sorry I jumped all over Senkat and Deadal. I should investigate the problem better and not blame people suddenly.

Phazonx, this is not how LPF works. I appreciate you clearing it out, but to anyone interested, I never asked you to say this. I honestly do not like to use any of the Mod features on the board and rarely do. This is a free board and you can say what you damn well please.

Pleas understand that there is a reputation to be held up on my side and on SenKat's. There are many people who are entrusting both of us with a lot of money. A single claim as such is taken personally only because it is truly not what we intend to do. SenKat and myself are not making any money off of these sales, and only intend to be helpful to the rest of the board.

The truth is that I have done everything possible to make sure the circuit gets to you in perfect condition. If there is any problem with the circuit, please send it back for a whole new replacement.

Sorry you had such problems with your circuit.

I had another one fail Of course it was running at only 420 mA at the time ;D I was running my "teflon tape test" and that was all the poor diode could do. RIP Chalk up another to learning ...

I posted the use of a little teflon tape on the threads of an Aixiz module to tighten the adjustment several months ago. One experimenter had some shards of this tape fuse to the window of his LD damaging it.
I was trying to see if the teflon tape I used could even possibly melt or burn in red laser light. I pushed the LD to the max and it gave its last photon :'(
