Just keep up the good work making great products, and Optotronics will have no worries.

Still worth noting...curious to see what comes of these events

I agree Dough, our customers and satisfaction with the products speak tons.

Not sure if anyone remembers this (i posted about it in the truth about WL thread I believe) and maybe I should have added it to the original post.
Late last year before the Spyder 2 came out I got an order for an RPL-165. The name of the buyer sounded very familiar as I had seen this name somewhere before. I looked in my records, but no info on name. I then googled it and found out someone had posted on the WL forums about the name and company. The company is "body rub I don't recall now what the name was of the top of my head. Anyway after reading the WL thread and looking around I google a bit, I found out the buyer was the father of "steve" or whatever his real name is from WL. One of the things that really made me take notice and search for the name was that a couple days after the order was placed (it was over thanksgiving weekend) I got a message that was submitted by contact form on the Optotronics website asking when they would get this laser. What they didn't realize is that the comment form reports the IP address and true country of origin that the message is from. I thought to myelf, now why would someone send me a message from Shanghai and pretending to be from the "body rub" company asking about their laser and when it would be sent. It didn't take long to figure out it was WL. I ended up sending their money back and not dealing with them.

You know how I know steve's gay? He fakes his company as "Body Rub"

LOLOL (if you don't get it, go watch 40 Year Old Virgin..)

Whoa, what in the world?

"206-225mW $989.99"
"226-265mW $849.00"
on Optotronic's price comparison....

"<1.00mrad - typically <0.92mrad (Lowest true divergence in the industry)"
Is where it really gets set off...

I know it would be hard, but isn't there something you can do about this Jack?

Oh, and in response to RobTheVIP:

Hi Rhith,
Yes there is and it was done earlier today.
My lawyer sent techlaser a warning letter to ask they remove stolen content. Godaddy is the webhost for techlaser and it's a violation their terms of service. If they don't remove the content in 24 hours the lawyer will be in contact with Godaddy and it cause an interruption of service to them. They may be in China and think they don't have to play by the rules, but their webhost is in the USA. I've used this same method on WL awhile back and it's quite effective.

Jack

SIC'M Jack ! ;)

You know, the lowest of the low in my opinion is someone who comes up with someone else's idea, and claims it as their own. That agravates me to no end, and I really DO pity anyone who does business with them. It's a true shame that some companies exist only because they can steal from other companies, and steal business in an unethical manner. Honestly, if they were taking business from Jack, or from any other honest company based on their own merits, that would be okay - "Business 101" but since they have to stoop to such low levels as this - it's truly horrid that they even remain in business.
