So I beat that level today, and I figured I'd take some screenshots to give others some help on how to beat this level...
It's a really fun game once you get used to the physics.. I just wish the guy's head wasn't so fragile... I mean, you just slightly bump it against something and he dies.. what a whiner!
Anyways...
For the first star, the easiest way to do this is drive your bike right up to the edge and stop... now slam on the gas while holding the left key and you'll pop a wheelie over the edge. As soon as your front tire has clearance, let go of the gas, let him swing over the edge, and immediately start pressing the right button so you don't bash your head on the floor on the rebound.
Once you're about to hit the edge of this platform, straighten yourself out with the left arrow, hopefully ending up more or less in a vertical position before you begin to fall. Once you hit the ground, immediately hit the brakes (down arrow key) so you don't roll off the slope. Press the Z key to turn yourself around and grab the next star.
This next one is a little tricky at first, but once you get the technique you shouldn't have any problems with it... Inch your way down the slope while holding on the breaks until you get to a little under an inch away from the edge, then simply let gravity do the work, your wheel will drop into the slot and you'll topple face first over the edge. Once your wheel is caught, start holding the left arrow key and don't let it go... hopefully you'll be going slow enough that you don't just bash your face... Keep holding that arrow key until you're clear of this and begin to fall... if you did it right you should naturally do half a flip and end up on your wheels.
Next is the mine field... This took the most amount of practice for me... You'll need just enough speed that you can catch your wheel on this slope, too much and you die, too little and you die. You'll have to go off the ramp in a wheelie, and I've found if you gently tap the brakes just as you're leaving the ramp, your front wheel swings forward, grabbing the line easier.
Once you've made it past that mine field the rest is a breeze. Approach this cliff really slowly, and hang your front tire off it while holding on the brakes. As long as you hit that gravity arrow you've beat the level.
and that's all there is to it!
