Yesterday, I Ordered an Aries-75 from LaserGlow, can't wait to get it. My First Green Laser. I would like to thank you guys/girls for all the information. Although I have just joined, I spent many hours reading your posts, learning what you liked and didn't like about the lasers you had bought from various dealers in an effort to find a reputable firm to deal with.
I decided on LaserGlow, and when I went there to find out what they had I found the Aries-75 was on sale. I did a search for the Aries-75 on the forum and didn't find any posts about it, and I am curious what everyone thinks of it?

Also Please be don't be to hars on my spelling ability, I have a fast mind and slow fingers.

Welcome, Stan ! Well, ANY of hte Aries line will land you with a nice laser, and plenty of surplus power. Laserglow has historically taken very good care of it's customers, even to the point of making sure they were happy well after the sale ! You will greatly enjoy the laser, I am sure !

Thanks SenKat. Any words of wisdom I should know, being a new/first time laser owner?

Stan

Great choice of laser. :) I am looking forward to seing some pictures of in action. ;D I have never seen any of that laser. :o Did you get goggles for it? ;)

Here are your words of wisdom :-)

Get Goggles !

Play Safely !

Have Fun !

Buy Lots Of Batteries !

;D

No, I didn't get Goggles, but I will Order a Pair pronto. Since it seems I need some. Batteries are easier to come by, I'm not sure what type it takes, I don't remember seeing that, but I will go look it up.

Stan

Stan - do a search on here for Aries, and some folks have recommended some rechargable C cels - since the Aries line takes C cell batteries, it may be best to get the renewable ones 8-)

yea i just spent a bundle on rechargeable Cs and charger for my DL hulk
but i think its worth it in the long run.

BUT the non rechargeables im using at the moment has an output of 1.5v per battery
the energizer rechargeables i bought have an ouput of only 1.2v each

i hope it doesnt make THAT much of a difference

Hi Stan,
If you need some eye protection, we can take care of you.
Check out the laser glasses on our PPL or RPL product pages, the current price is $46.

Have a great holiday

Don't worry, we're very tolerant. We'll even give you another chance since you're new.

Jack, went by your site first, but didn't see any goggles, didn't know to look where the lasers were. I had look under accessories. Next went to nova and bought a pair of theirs.

I think I will check out MAHA and see what they have for Rechargable C Cell

Stan

OH, one more thing! What about a Case for the Aries, Should I get one? If so where?

Stan

OK, went and checked out the MAHA/POWEREX Batteries and here are the Specs:

5000mAh C NiMH Rechargeable Batteries 1.2V

When I checked the LaserGlow site they said use 1.5V C Batteries, so the MAHA probably won't work.

I also found AW C Cell 3.7 volt Protected 3300 mha Rechargeable Lithium Battery, which is to much voltage. but, they are slightly larger than regular C Cell Batteries.

What Battery is recommended?
