Testing ACS1500SE

Hello,

What would be the proper way to test this driver to tell if it is dead or not? I measured voltage at the input pos and neg and got the correct voltage. Can I test the output side on the board the same way? I'm trying to determine if the driver is good or not.

Open output is not defined for a current source, and may damage the driver in some instances. Look into the "sticky" threads in this forum for instructions on how to construct a test load. A simple 1ohm resistor on the output would be fine for a few seconds if all you're looking for is output functionality.
