Surefire flashlights?

Surefire's selling point is their customer service... I think I've mentioned this here before, but some CPFer went into a surefire store with a slightly wonky tail switch. The guy took his light, and came back with a totally upgraded model. He replaced the lens, bulb, bezel, etc. with much more expensive stuff totally free of charge, all because the tailcap was acting funky (he also replaced that, of course) and then gave the guy all his old stuff too. That's some good customer support right there LOL

Don't say that, it makes me feel like wearing a black turtleneck sweater and make things out of lots of aluminum so people buy them because they're shiny.

It's not just shiny :( they're SO SMALL. Have you ever held an aluminum macbook? Exactly. That said, I might get a PC next for the price (even if they have crap battery life )

I got a 6P a few years ago. That was before the LED version came out. That thing went through battereies so quick that I bought a 12 pack. They started selling the LED replacement bulb a few months after the LED 6P came out. I bought the LED bulb and have been very happy. It hasn't been babied. But it hasn't been through complete hell either and it still runs great.

I recently got an 165-lumen Inova T3-MP flashlight, and it's the nicest light I've ever used. The build quality is excellent, and its brightness and throw blew me away! On top of this, it has a 2.5 hour runtime on CR123A primaries.
