super glue misadventures

somone at my school put superglue in somones shoe then he put his foot in it and it was like a shoe you dont wear socks with so his foot got superglued to the shoe and the art teacher had to use a big can of acetalyne (its whats in nail polish remover) and basicly pour it in his shoe..ouch

Acetone......

Acetelyne is a gas...and damn explosive stuff at that.....

We recently had a guy arrested for "Bomb Making" near here.
He was taking trash bags, filling them with acetelyne gas, then toucghing them off with a flame!!!

Big Boom!!!!

Handcuffs, rights reading, jailtime, felony....expensive lawyer...Not WORTH IT!!!!

yes, Acetelyne is a nasty gas and i know it wont do s*** to super glue unless it is burning it. its also used in cutting torches and boy does it explode when mixed with pure oxygen. i live in town, so no Acetelyne bombs for me, only hydrogen. ;)
 
Hm i thought he said acetalyine, guess i jus misheard him well he said somtehin that it was what nailpolish remover.

Because i superglued my fingers together and my mom said to use some nailpolish remover and pour it on my fingers it worked good they got unstuck.

Personally, I wouldn't want to ujse acetylene to remove superglue from my hands...
Here's a tip, go to walmart and pick up a quart of acetone for $3. Now every time you superglue yourself you always have a way out!
 
That would be handy id be like "well my hands are superglued together, now where did a put teh acetone, ther it is now if only my hand werent superglued together i could lift it lol :P"

Man.... was she Pissed!

It truly is one of those stories that get told at every family get together....Thanksgiving, Christmas.......Oh..Joy.... :P
