Are these glasses suitable for a 750mW 445nm laser pointer?

I understand that glasses are a MUST when handling powerful lasers, so i'm trying to get a quality pair on the lower end of the price spectrum. If there are none i'll splurge and get a pair of eagle pair glasses.

If possible i'm also willing to buy a used pair from a LPF user!

Yes, I have a cheaper pair believe it or not, and it handles a 3 watt 445nm pretty well, though it will start burning the glasses. Those pairs are a good investment.

Yeah right. Since when are those eBay crap googles guaranteed to protect against lasers?
They may not be made for laser protection but they have been tested by a few members, including me, to protect against 445nm.

@OP - These ones I have do not block 532nm as opposed to the ones tested earlier by a couple of members. You will need to test these with your 445 if it works. Just point your laser somewhere far and slowly bring the dot closer to you. You should see a faint dot if the goggles work.

Well their all pretty cheap but after seeing the results of some of the tests you referred to, I acknowledge
that the OP could in fact use them even though they aren't designed for laser protection.
 
Why do noobs seem to think that their eyesight is worthless, so they can skimp on safety? It saddens me :(

Get an eagle pair, or something good, or don't get into the hobby. Period. This hobby gets crap from the authorities because noobs mess around and make lasers look like weapons. Be safe, or sorry.

Please don't worry, I've gone ahead and bought a pair of glasses from Survival Laser and a pair of NOIR glasses.

it's not just about the level of protection either, but about the quality of protection. Good, certified lenses will give you as much protection with as little lost light as possible. I've just tested an ARG goggle with 445nm and 532nm and even with a strong reflected hit from the laser beam the goggles do not flash or have aberrations. It is, in fact very hard to even tell you're being hit by a beam. My Eagle Pair on the other hand make very visible flashes when this happens and you can see the laser beam travel across the glasses. Now, this may be down to the IR blocking coating mine also have, but in general the best quality protection will come expensive.

What kind of NOIR goggle did you get? If you got ARG filter, you won't be disappointed.
