Strange green light from IR diode...

I'd be curious to see a picture. Is it too dim to be caught with a camera, or maybe the IR would overwhelm the green light?

As you can see in video, camera picks only IR light, and this dim green light is overwhelmed.

If you've got a bunch of dichros, like I do from old cameras/cd drive sleds, you could try putting some in front of your camera and seeing if any of those block the IR light.

I second the idea that this could be some other light generation from the chip. I don't really know much of anything about how LED's/lasers work, but I've seen a sort of similar effect on a blue LED I have: YouTube - Rainbow LED
