Stock Diode Lens Use?

Ive ordered many diodes that come with the original lens from what ever unit it came out of. Is there any real use for these? I normally just throw them in my junk box never to be seen again. :can:

If you're referring to the lenses from C@$1o projectors, they give exeptionally bad beam, when compared to normal 445nm coated Aixiz glass.

Well, they can be used but... They are not completely worthless. Just that, although they give a few miliwatts more than Aixiz glass, beam is horribly focused. Or isn't focused

gatchya. I have lenses from other diodes as well like a 685nm diode...maybe ill mess around with them and try to come up with a use

Bear in mind that most of these stock lenses are designed to focus the laser at only a few mm from the lens
