Just bought one diode via google. Hopefully my install of this will go smoother than the diode I tried to pull from a $30 oem drive that I broke a pin on.

Off topic a little but if it was the ground pin you broke, you can still use the diode because the can is grounded. That's what happend to my diode and I just soldered a wire to the very very back of the aixiz module and it works fine. Also ok if you broke the photo diode pin as it is not used.
