Staring at laser, eye problems

hahahaha, unfortunately I don't smoke.

E-mailed the local hospital and had a reply within 20 minutes from the head eye consultant/surgeon. Just said that everything sounds normal at the moment and the information I received from eye casualty is correct. He also said that it should clear within a few days and if not then to get a referral from my GP for an appointment. Yet again fantastic service from the NHS.:bowdown:

indeed if it was a class II odds are you're fine, but if you looked at it long enough it could cause some minor issues in a localized area, I know a few people that've had minor temporary damage from looking into barcode scanners and red pointers for a second or two and had to wait a week or so for their eyes to return to normal, but I've never seen a recorded case of permanent damage from brief exposure to a class II or IIIR pointer.

Thank you ultimatekaiser. Posts like that puts my mind at ease. Great community here. Everyone is so nice and friendly.
