I have finally made something on the super duper CNC lathes!

These are 1"x1"x0.5" square diode modules. They are machined out of Aluminum, with a diode pocket cut straight into the back. The front is threaded for a aixiz lens nut, and the threads are very close tolerance so there is no need to use a spring.

The diode pocket is cut with a chamfer so it is easy to press the diode in. I also have diode presses designed especially for this hestsink (and future builds of mine)

Here is a pic with no diode

Here is the press. It has a hole drilled all the way down the middle for your leads. It has a large base so you don't have to worry about getting it set in the vice perfectly. It is a little longer than it needs to be, but I plan on making future builds of mine use the same pocket, so this one would be reusable!

I just checked, and you can use the diode press with an aixiz module too if you cut a spare rear half in half (too many halves :D )

Here is a youtube video of the first operation in making these things!

These will be $40 each shipped. The diode press will be an extra $10.
Please PM me with any questions!
