Spyder III Arctic question

Hi,
New poster here, long time fan.

I just purchased the WL Spyder III Arctic.

Came with two screw on lenses, one with a small diameter lens, and one with a larger lens.
The users manual is not well written;

Which screw on lens is the training lens, and which one is the full power one?

The smaller one is less power. But if you turn it on you'll be able to clearly see the difference, even with the glasses they provide (because the glasses aren't very good)

Some glasses are and some glasses aren't. It's better to not risk it if you don't have a meter to confirm it.

Why do have the need to keep arguing, and getting the last word on petty posts? Is your life that insignificant? Or is it some insecurity issue that you have to be right all the time to compensate for other failures in your life? 2 people can be right at the same time. Save the debate for things worth debating.

If I knew I was joining a web forum of laser enthusiast drama queens, I might have gone just a bit further down the road.

I don't think I'll send this thing back to China.
It only took me 5 freaking months to take possession of it from the time I ordered until the time the UPS man delivered it.

I think I'll just embrace the investment, and figure a way to use it and improve it.

Is there a pair of laser-safe goggles or glasses commercially available that will serve for all classes, bandwidths, and colors of lasers?

If they exist, I would like to buy a pair.

Or, if laser-protective goggles are very much specific to a particular laser (an IZLID 1000 laser pointer versus the laser found in the MMS of a Kiowa Warrior helicopter for instance), then I guess I'd like to learn about that too.

I think you want one of these:

In all seriousness, OEM Laser Systems offers goggles that protect most common wavelengths, but you won't find goggles that provide protection against all laser systems and wavelengths - you wouldn't be able to see anything.

These are the closest to what you want:

I got my WL Spyder III Arctic last week, and the trainer lens was puted on it. So the other lens was "the real one". But now I have ordered the Expanded lens kit. But it would surely takes another 4 months to get it... :undecided:

Tell me about it;

I ordered it in June, and finally received it in October.
Terrible customer service at Wicked Lasers.
Their customer service operators (whenever they could be bothered to answer the phone) could never get their story straight.

Never again.
