lazerlover what do u think of these like all in one pocket knife style picks?

I actually had one of those and they're great, nice too because you always have them. I would definetly recommend it. And yes I did move to a pro set that's why I sold them. I would also recommend getting a full size set as when learning it's hard to learn with the shorter picks that are in the jack knife.

50 is not overpriced for high quality spring steel with re-enforced handles, trust me I know my lock pick sets. You can get it all in a pocket knife, sure, but it's won't be the same quality and you won't get the same performace from smaller pics. The pocket knife is nice to have for one lock, but if you plan on picking for a hobby you want a better set, so trust me 50 is not overpriced, look around on the site all their spring steel sets are around 50 or higher.

your set seems similar to one they have on the site for 29.99 (ww.lockpicks.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=200) true the description says pocket size and yours are standard, plus you paid 70 for yours. but still the ones on the site seem better, even the fifty dollar ones offer more than you did. maybe it's the branding or something, to me it seemed a little steep. personaly i'd just buy the most picks for the cheapest price and do ww.inventgeek.com/Projects/lockpick/Overview.aspx that with them, or just buy a pick gun.

in this case as with lasers cheaper isn't always better. And as for pick guns they are a lot harder to use than you might think, they require a lot of skill, most people overlook that fact.

And may I add to this conversation ? It has gone on long enough back and forth - agree to disagree and get over it ! Thread locked, as it has been sold.
