Spartan Beam Expander

I've read around threads already made and can't seem to find a unanimous answer as to whether the lens fits to the new model Spartan 1w 445nm, and whether it actually makes a huge difference with it attached (if it can be attached that is)

I'd probably make one myself if i did some research on materials to use/how easy it is to get hold of them, i'd be worried i'd mess something up though. i couldn't afford another laser if i messed it up lol ><

Ah that one, just wanted to make sure. It has an aperture that's designed for 532, the 445nm beam would get clipped by it and there would be a large drop in power. Apparently DL is working on an expander designed for the 445nm spartans.

I don't suppose an old camera lens would have any benefit on a laser? :x
