Spare green laser module driver with 445nm?

I have a spare green laser module that has a driver that runs at 600mA which coincidentally happens to be the current I want to run a 445nm at. Would it be possible to use this driver with a 445nm diode?

The short answer is, "No."

The IR diode is probably <2V and the 445 needs >4V. The driver will NOT give you >4V at 600mA

That depends entirely on the driver circuit really... post a schematic of it, and it will be easy to tell if it will work or not...

Cant post a schematic, I can try to post pics of the driver later if thats ok. Its from an old CNI.

The answer is still probably no. IR's never need the voltage that 445's do. The drivers for IR's are a lot different that what's needed for 445's.
