Can't wait to see the helicopter fly. When the rover deploys that little helicopter, it's like it's laying a robot egg.

There is literally a piece of history on an object about to make more history:

Amazing how far we have come in a little over 100 years. From not being able to fly at all, to flying robots on another planet.

It is testament to our huge development in such a small space of time relative to our history. It is amazing to say the least. To think we are already 21 years into this century and that by the end of it our world will be nearly unrecognisable.

I've been watching old 4K remastered videos of the past. And it seriously unnerving and fascinating how far things have changed in as little 50-60 years. Let alone 100 years ago. Things have changed big time since the millenium even.

It almost looks like the surface of Mars in this picture!

B&W photos have that look to them. Especially at the turn of the last century. When I was a kid many photos of me were monochrome. But, the quality was better.

They spun the rotors up today and it's set to take its first flight Sunday!!!

I haven't been this on the edge of my seat about something like this in a long time!
