Source for low power diode

I damaged a diode for a laser pointer I had made with a blu ray diode out of a KES-400A sled. Does anyone know where you can get these diodes cheap? I wanted to get another one of the low powered ones so I could play without fearing for the health or vision of people in the vicinity - plus it seemed plenty bright for a pointer. But when I look online people want like 50 bucks for a sled, when the PHR-803 diodes on here are going for 10+ bucks. Thanks,

I'd just get a PHR and run it at a lower power. Not only will this accomplish what you need, but It'll last nearly forever as well..
