Here's some pics of the star projector I just received. I might be getting better at taking beam pictures? 20mW, daylight W/ room darkened. A little fog.

I think that's what happens when you rotate 3 diffraction gratings out of sync. Not 100% sure though.

Yes,you are correct. The faster you have the units speed turned up, the longer the lines will be. (above pic.is about 50% max. speed)
This is about 30% max.

all star projectors work the same. Dealextreme, focalprice, o-like, rayfoss, laserlands... Check them all

Thanks I understand it's just that spencers outlet have these as well for 40.00 US at 5mW soo there are some differances yes.

The brand is TekTonik Laser- Ministar
I bought off of e-bay. Seller ID: cchhcc000
E-bay store is TTK lasers. Here's a link to one that ends in 1 dqy 9 hours.

These are worlds apart from the one's Spencer's have. I brought it with me to compare. Not even close.

Chris, of TTK lasers certified the output at >20mw, but without tearing it apart to get to the module, behind the D/G's. I have no way to measure it. But man is it bright.
It has an all aluminum case, fan cooling, glass lenses, 1 year warr.. and on high speed, it flys
I just ordered the same model Ministar except with Red/Green 70mW
It should be even more awesome.

Also, won a 70mW Red/Green unit. I can't wait to see the R/G's stars. Why do I sense a RGB scanner in my future?
