Not entirely sure non-laser photos can go here. If not, I'm sorry.

I thought I would share some non-laser photographs I've done over the past month for college.

Uranium glass cup under UV:

Full moon on a cloudy night:

Fluorescent crystal under UV:

A closeup of my bearded dragon:

A sparkler in my gravel pit:

Gel spheres lit from underneath:

A portrait of one of my classmates:

A portrait of another classmate:

Hey Blarg,
Very nice photos. I like the uranium glass one the best. It is perfectly exposed as the green on top and dark blue/purple on the bottom look great!. I have photographed my uranium glass and marbles and I know how easy it can be to overexpose, but when done right looks like your photo.

Yeah it took a decent number of shots to get it right. Shooting in RAW helps as I can take it into Photoshop and tweak it a bit to get even better results.

Gotta love the dragon, it even looks into the camera... or is that just luck? :D

Good positioning. They have a habit of staring off into the distance I just set my camera up where he was looking.

I see.. i figured they might be inclined to look at the little focus light on the camera ;)

Then again perhaps they just don't give a damn since it doesn't look edible nor dangerous.
