Could someone help me with this. I'm running windows 7. I was using Firefox but it stopped working (just did crash reports) so i switched to opera (which is better imho) but then that stopped working and now i'm on chrome. Anyone know why.

What do you mean by stopped working? Do the programs not start, or no longer load a web page?

This. Please be more specific. Also, do you remember WHEN did they stop working? I mean, were you visiting the same webpage, etc.?

To fix firefox, try this:

Click on the start menu, and type: C:\users\yourusername\appdata\roaming\mozilla\firefox\profiles and hit enter. A window will pop up with a folder in it, named 8 random letters and numbers .default Delete this folder and try running firefox again. This will delete all your extensions and bookmarks, so if you want to save your bookmarks, open up the random letters and numbers directory, and save bookmarks.htm somewhere else before you delete it.

Definitely an odd problem. Did you experience the same problem with IE?

I have a feeling it might be something along the lines that Niko mentioned. Usually when I experience consistent crashes it has to do with some plugin. I'd bet that Flash may be the culprit here.

Have you tried uninstalling flash player, all browsers, then cleaned the registry and files with CCleaner?
