No way LQS will actually be 200mW or even close though...

Hosts are the only thing WL does right imo.

PM Lazeerer... he's really good when it comes to small hosts.

Of course there is the issue of the module you want to use... even the o-like 200mW modules are always coming in underspec. I metered a couple of lasers with them and they were both around 170mW with about 20mW of IR.

Well, i dont want them THAT strong..but then its not worth it to do it if it isnt.

Well, in order to double the perceived brightness, you need to quadruple the output...

In reality a true 100mW green is VERY visible imo.

Btw, OP updated with LPM screenshot I just did. Peaked at 152mW:D

Well, it is exactly the spec my LPM says it is... I'm kind of anal about things like that:p

Can't do $80 though. I'm already taking a big loss on the laser as it is.

As zdarkazn said above, you can order from LQS for $90... and hope that it hits even 100mW.

Lol. If that host was a PEN with side clicky, i'd take it instantly, but nooooo :mad:

Head part isn't loose... it's focusable, and I defocused it since camera wasn't picking up the tight dot well. Actually have to find the case I packed laser away in... going to clean apartment today tomorrow anyway, so I'll take some more pics for you when I come across it.

The other one is a new wish:o I don't have any other "pen" lasers:(
