Re: parts for blue ray laser

I think you should build that laser ..you can ask questions if you need to .. you will be glad when you did...trust me

Re: parts for blue ray laser

It's the rckstr, as he bought it with module and diode for $40

Re: parts for blue ray laser

i honestly dont have the time, knowledge or the money to finish this build. i have no idea what im doing, so i just want to sell this. it literally showed up yesterday at my house. it is the rckstr driver. the module has never been opened or anything. it was pre set at 110mw. it came with a couple reflector crystals, and a IR diode. the darkhorse heatsink has never been taken out of the package. please PM me if you want to make an offer

Re: blue ray module 110mw w/rckstr driver+heatsink

It would take about 15 minutes to make a proper laser out of that.. all the hard work as been done for you. Knowledge has also already been done for you, you're already on LPF... which is better than knowledge. It would be less than $2 to finish it...

can you not figure out the dark horse heatsink? you just remove it from the package, slide it over the module, and use the provided allen wrench to tighten it down.

you'll probably need to take that sticker off the module first.

PS. If you make a real laser out of it, you can sell it for a lot more than $50.

Re: blue ray module 110mw w/rckstr driver+heatsink

im interested
and does it include the Dorcy?and any pics of Dorcy?

Re: blue ray module 110mw w/rckstr driver+heatsink

this does not have a dorcy jr host, this is just for the module and the heatsink, you just need to buy the dorcy jr and some batteries and your ready to go from what i understand.

Re: blue ray module 110mw w/rckstr driver+heatsink

sounds like a heck of a deal, I wish I had the extra money floating around to buy this :'(
