Just built this merely an hour ago. This WAS supposed to be for someone but he totally flaked out on me. All that worrying and buying diodes for nothing ::) Has a flexdrive set at 150mA and runs off 2 normal 1.5v alkalines or even 2xNi-Mh rechargables. As you can see it doesn't have a proper button (lost it some time ago  :-[ ) but the button itself protudes enough to where you can easily press it anyways  ;D Asking $165 for this bad boy.

You should have taken the focusing ring off the AixiZ module, screwed the plastic black lens all the way in (to focus to infinity) and screwed the aperatre cap back on...
It would look more proffessional that way, and could be used as a pointer.

Whoever buys it is free to do that if they want. Possibly painting the ring black would suffice  :D It is already set to infinity. What i do is unscrew the lens out of the ring, put a dab of super glue in it, then thread it once. That gives it the extra space needed so you can still use the ring  ;D

EDIT: also you cant put the CORE aperature cap back on. The lens is built into it :-/

Meh. I got it for free. ::) (If I hadn't gotten this core, I would probably buy either the lyra-c or the Galileo from laser glow ::))

What about your 10mW from DX? Is it still alive?
