concerns regarding the use of the Aixiz laser driver and am currently unable to get a reading off of the driver. We have attached it to a load to measure the voltage which we can use to measure output current. The load consists of a series of rectifier diodes attached to a 1-ohm resistor. The rectifier diodes simulates the voltage drop of the laser diodes we plan to use and the 1-ohm resistor is used to give us the voltage which can be translated to current. (Attached is a diagram explaining the concept behind this load). However, the output is reading 0.00 mV.
We have soldered wires onto each of the connection points with the exception of the "Laser Diode -ve or null" on the diagram provided to us (attached below) and would like to know if you could assist us. The setup is as follows:
The "Power & TTL -ve" is attached to ground.
The "TTL control +ve" and "Power +ve" is attached to a 5V source
The "LD -ve" is attached to the cathode end of the rectifier diode
The "LD +ve" is attached to the 1 ohm resistor
We are planning to power it with the arduino, however we have tried powering it with 5V DC through the arduino and a myDAQ and still not results.
Based on the connections and what is written, is there a problem with the setup and if not, do you have any idea what the problem may be?

my 1st thought was he had put power to the TTL which should shut the driver down.. a problem I have seen before-
