Small laser lens

Hi,

I'm looking for a small 6mm diameter or smaller laser lens. The lens doesn't need a plastic jacket with threads. I'm going to use the lens in a blue and a red custom laser pointer.


I have tried Aixiz module lenses but the lens itself (removed from the black plastic housing) is 7mm.

I think the lenses should be glass as I plan on burning with these lasers.

A final question- on an Aixiz module the platic housing covers up most of the laser facing part of the module. There is just a small hole in the housing for the laser light to pass thru. Does anyone know why they do this.

Check Edmund Optics. I know they carry 6mm diameter glass lenses uncoated and AR coated. Ask for a free catalog

I have both a 6 mm & 4.8 mm plano-convex glass lens.

Focal length is 5mm on the 6mm; 4mm on the 4.8 mm.

Let me know if those would help you.

The aperture on the Aixiz lens module is just to give a more round beam.
