Been talking to the guys at bluefan.nl to buy an LPM. I did some emailing, and the guy Johan built me this one. Ill attach the pics and stats he sent me. I think this is a descent deal! 49 euros (62$) for this unit. What do you all think.

Hi,
I've build the LPM but it's not completely comparable to a normal Basic LPM. It has a slightly larger drift (~1.5% @1000mW) and offset (drifting between 0 and 7mW). Also the sensor is not exactly in the center of the heatsink, something went wrong. Using a 40x40mm active area was experimental after all. If you still want it I'll give you a 30% discount, it would be a 49 euro lpm. I've included a photo and the calibration certificate.
The other option is a normal Basic LPM. I still have 1 Basic LPM, it the first I build and I use it as construction reference model. Or I could make one when parts come available, I estimate that to be 2 weeks. A normal Basic LPM is quite stable, a smaller sensor means less noise.
Let me know what you think.
Regards,
Johan
