i have a 30mw green laser getting tired of it

was thinking about getting this focusable blu ray one from o-like here is link

405nm 100mW blu-ray pen /adjustable [OLBVL100] - $69.99 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products

or should i buy a 100mw green laser thats like 5 dollars cheaper?

If the 100mw blu-ray is decently bright, like u can clearly see the beam at night i mind as well buy that one since its focusable.. i never use violet laser before so dunno how bright it is compared to green

imo 100mw of bluray is not very visible and even 200mw is not you can see some what a beam at night and a decent beam in a nice fog at night but it will be no where near your green. for a comparison its a 5-1 for green vs blu-ray.
if you want a true laser that is godly take a look at the 0.5-1.25W (500mw-1,500mw) 445nm lasers but you will need to save up some good money around 175-225$
But it will out shine your green and having a blue beam that bright is so amazing

100mW of 532nm (green) will be far, far more visible than 100mW of 405; 532nm packs a great punch. If you are looking for a highly visible beam then green is the better option.

ok then, i just wanted a visible beam with some burning power

how visible is a 200mw red?

can get 1 of those for only 45$ focusable

Just compared a few of my greens with a 202mW 660nm - the closest match was a 25mW green pen laser.

hm thats visible enough for me to point at stars and light fireworks at the same time.

i'll be buying green and red safety goggles along with the 200mw red since its so cheap

I do not recommend buying the 100mW 405nm.
You can get 5mW 405nm on ebay for $10 that put out 40-50mW.

For visibility you should go for greens, for burning start with reds, then look for the 445nm 1W ones.
