Hello everyone, this is actually my first post here, so I'm honestly sorry to make it a question.

But, I am actually really eager to buy my first laser device, but I'm afraid that it'll get confiscated because of it not being FDA approved.

>http://www.rayfoss.com/productn.asp?ArticleID=61< This is the laser I'm interested in.

So I'm just asking you guys because you obviously have the most experience with these types of situations.

(Again, I'm really sorry to come on the forums only ONCE and have it be a question. And you guys, besides the fact this is my first post, probably get really frustrated when people ask this question.)

Thanks alot guys. :yh:

Welcome to the forum! trust me you will enjoy your stay here ;)

You will be able to get that through if your lucky but if you want a higher chance go with o-like dot com

They have good quality lasers at a cheap price and they have great customer service :D

that Rayfoss laser looks pretty nice but rayfoss has been going downhill lately

a 100mw green like this probably will be a better choice New cute pocket Green laser 100mW /adjustable [OLCGL100] - $71.99 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products

also you MUST have safety glasses for anything over 100mw's :D

goodluck!

Thank you so very much for your reply.
I will instead get the "cute" 100mW... To be completely honest I was looking at that one first then checked out Rayfoss.

But, I still really hope my first Green Laser doesn't get confiscated or something like that, because that would really ruin my experience, especially as a first timer.

Honestly, I'm thinking even if they do see it, it looks like an LED flashlight and I may just get it given they don't search the package.

Again, thanks a lot for your help, and I'm sorry to ask for more of your time :undecided:
Edit: lol, I didn't ask a question... Nevermind

I recently had a 100 mW red shipped here from Hong Kong. I was a bit worried it might not get through but within 2 weeks it was sitting on the front doorstep.

I guess you never know for sure, it is possible they might grab it but there are lots of packages coming through and only so many people so they don't have time to open and thoroughly inspect every single one. It's basically up to the laws of probability. I would say the odds are that it will come through.
