i like BDR-209 single watt output violet. however It dies easily. I have been waiting for Sharp 1.5w Violet for several years

More I hear of how easy they are to kill the more I think they are the normal NDV4642/NDV4542 etc... just over driven and they have quite a bit more head room than normal single mode diodes..
