I was wondering if there's something I can buy that can place in front of my laser to make small geometric shapes? I'm thinking of wanting to produce a triangle shape at the size of 1 inch at 10 yards away.

Some of the cheap red pointers include a variety of difraction gratings to project "stuff" on a wall. They may not hold up long with a high power green or BR but you can get an idea.

Alright I gave it a shot. This is with two motors:

I decided to try to make a square. I got close (it's more like a parallelogram.) This required three motors.

For the motors I use a 6V wall adapter (I forgot the mA, I can check in a few days though), with 3 1Kohm pots for each motor to get fine tuning.
The power of the laser is my 5mW Lyra.
