seoguy's Handy Smilies Table!
One of the things that many ppl have complained about has been the severe lack of smilies in the new forum, and missing their favorite YaBB smilies to express their "True 100mw" emotions!

What if told you that I'm going give you all of your YaBB smilies back - right now???!

While the ultimate solution involves changes to the forum, I figure c0ld has a lot more critical problems right now! So I came up with a workable interim solution, to take a little of the pressure off of him, and to make life a little easier for everybody else!

So here ya go! -
http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1241861833/0#0

Instructions -
Already included in that page! Basically, you just -
1) Right-click "shortcut" to right of desired smiley, then select "Copy Shortcut" (for IE), or "Copy Link Location" (for FireFox)
2) Click mouse at desired location for smiley in post/edit window in new forum
3) Click "Image" option button (icon with 2 mountain peaks in it)
4) Press Control-V to paste location into pop-up box for URL, then click OK
That's it!

Tips:
Bookmark/Save to Favorites the page, for easy access!
For convenience, open the page in a separate window or tab whenever you need that "special" smiley!
The page also provides you with several other options -
You can also right-click the smiley image, select properties, and then copy the URL.
You can also simply "click" the shortcut link (which will take you directly to the location of the smiley), and then just copy the URL from the address bar of your browser.
This currently includes ALL of both the default and enhanced smilies that were available in the old forum! Let me know if there are any extra smilies you'd like to see in there.

Enjoy!

For the techies, note that I did this as a YaBB page for good reasons -
[LIST=1]
[*]It uses features (like tables) that the new forum can't handle.
[*]Trying to put that many different graphics in a single post (which is how you would
have to do this outside of YaBB) would cause problems for the new forum software
(which uses a separate database entry for each image).
[*]Due to the nature of page & features used, more efficient and less server overhead
this way.
[*]It's an interim solution, so no sense causing more problems with it than it solves, right?! ;)
